Had bad belly for 7 days will this affect the pill?

I've had a bug been sick once but had diarrhoea for about a week.
I've started taking rigevedon about 12 days ago.
does this impact the efficacy of the pill?
I read a bit of a horror story on the sun website

I know for microgynon, the pill packet leaflet goes into a fair bit of detail about what to do if this happens in various circs - yours might do the same?
