Injection or mini pill

I went to the local clinic about a month ago expecting to be told what I needed and they gave me the option of either.

I mainly want it to control my periods, ideally make the, bugger off all together.

I went for the pill to get back into hormonal contraceptives but I was wondering about the injection.

For what it’s worth my periods have been longer on the pill.

Injection made me bleed and put on lots of weight. Cerazette mini pill stopped my period as did the mirena coil

Thanks. I don’t need anything else to make me fatter!
