Copper coil pressure and tenderness

Hi just wondering if anyone.has same feelings as me with the copper coil. I had it inserted about 3months ago. Ive had a bleed about every two/three weeks which is ok. But about a week after each bleed has ended I start getting very bloated and tender and pressure feelings that are uncomfortable and last about a week. If I need the loo this seems to add to tge pressure and tenderness around.my pelvic area. It does ease abit with paracetamol but im not sure if this is normal? Had a check up at family planning last month and they said it was in.place which was a concern I had. Any advise not sure I want t go back to doctor again

I have a Mirena so not quite sure about the copper coil. A week after your period finishes suggests ovulation symptoms. I get some slight cramps and spotting mid cycle, but no bloating or pressure.

I had a copper coil removed for similar symptoms and the constant health anxiety it caused. It was worse around periods and ovulation but there was a constant niggle. Not painful but the flooding periods, bad moods and feeling it just wasn't right got too much. On removal I was told it was correctly in place. I've since read the copper means the womb is in a constant state of irritation. I've now had the implant and that's come with a whole new set of annoying side effects!

Ive not had heavier or more painful periods which is a bonus just this uncomfortable feeling of pressure and tenderness...but im out of options after that apart from condoms and I dont want more children.at 42 so maybe have to see how it goes! Just hoping it settles more in time!

Ive had the copper coil fitted couple of weeks ago. Just had a period. No tenderness but my DD accidentally kicked me below my belly button & I had a bit of bright red mucous right after. Made me feel a bit on edge about keeping my lower abdomen 'safe'. Will report tenderness if I feel it..

I am having an ongoing Brown/red discharge (like the last day of period) since the last 2 days. I have to have a thin lad or liner. Not enjoying this at all. It's day 8-9 of my cycle so not part of my period. Is this the new normal? It's my first cycle after fitting so hard to say.

If you are in pain I think you should see the GP. It could be in the wrong position (dangerous + not working) or could be pelvic inflammation. Either case MUST be seen. I hope you get some answers...

Id give it time. I was told a good 6months before it all could calm down
