IVF abroad

Has anyone had personal experience of IVF abroad?

What was the total cost?
And how was the experience?

After a 26 month wait with my first child me and my partner would like to explore other options but UK prices are way too much for us.

I did ivf in Barcelona. Very easy to get to but the clinic we chose wasn’t cheap. We ended up using donor eggs and one round cost about 12k but I’ve twins from it and I have 4 frozen embryos. I can only talk about my experience but their knowledge is far superior to uk and the success rates speak volumes. I’ve no regrets

Thank you so much for your reply. I think the price you paid is a bit out of my reach but I will add Barcelona to the list to check out.
