Implant - dizziness?

Anyone experienced really bad dizziness/light-headedness on the implant? I had the implant put in on 19th April so still pretty recent but whenever I start to get a period I get really bad dizziness and sickness. I've been feeling sick all week, started bleeding today and now I'm so dizzy I can barely walk in a straight line. Is this normal? I've not had much bleeding, this seems to be my second proper 'period' on it but have had some spotting, it's just the dizziness I'm really struggling with.

Nope, not with mine. It might not agree with you. I'd make a GP appointment and talk it through.

Thanks for replying. I will try get an appt. I wasn't sure what to do as the nurse told me she wanted me to keep it for 6 months at least before considering removal but I will try get in to see her and discuss if it's not very common!

Aren't implants meant to stop periods? DD hasn't had a period for the 3 years she's had her implant.

@Herat it's different for everyone I think. Some people don't bleed at all, some still get normal periods and I've known some people who can bleed for months non-stop.

My dd has bled for 3 out of 4 weeks, she's going to get it removed.
