I've been deliberating whether to try this but it's my only option. Can you tell me ho a it panned out for you during the first 6-10 weeks...

Bled constantly. Came off it after 6 months. There are other mini pills though (I’m not sure what you have tried) if it doesn’t work out .

Bled the whole time I was on it like it was a permanent period. I don’t know why I let them talk me into trying it again. My breastfed child developed bad diarrhoea while I was breastfeeding on it and the bleeding came back. Never again! I didn’t bleed permanently on the norethisterone mini pill but that gave me other problems. I don’t think my body likes he progesterones.

Had 1 period at the start and then no bleeding for several years. Then i moved to the mirena coil and also had no bleeding

P.s. there are a couple of other mini pills with different active hormones to cerazette

InDubiousBattle · 30/04/2018 21:02

Stopped taking it after 30 days of heavy bleeding.

GinThereDoneThat · 30/04/2018 21:02

I started taking it in August 2015 and haven't bled since then either. I gained a little bit of weight but it helped calm my acne down a little bit and I haven't had any bad effects since then

BabyMoonPie · 30/04/2018 21:05

I bled more than I didn't so I changed to another pill after 5.5 months

User0304 · 30/04/2018 21:17

I was on it for years... had about 2 weeks of bleeding at first then nothing for about 4 years x

Bubblesandsquarks · 30/04/2018 21:41

Mood wise fine, no periods. I found it great compared to the implant both times I've been on it other than it seems to make me have no sex drive.. Probably helps its effectiveness at least haha..!
