Anyone on the Yasmin pill?

Been prescribed this by my GP today, anyone taking this? How do you find it?

I have been taking it for years after trying several different kinds and getting side effects. This is the only one that I have found to be fine, and have had no problems with it.

Yasmin was the best pill I was ever prescribed. I was on it for about 5 years. Helped to control my acne, no raging mood swings, minimal cramps and short periods.
I do remember my boobs getting absolutely enormous and very painful when I first started taking it.

Every form of the pill I tried, including Yasmin, gave me such bad mood swings that I stopped taking it altogether in the end. I don't know if it's changed since but at the time I was told Yasmin was least bad for moods but I'm quite sensitive to hormonal birth control. The other side effect I had with Yasmin was weight gain. This one is more common I believe.

I tried it after Dianette was discouraged. It is supposed to be good for acne, but I didn't find it very effective (or at least not as effective as Dianette), but even worse was the fact that it made me permanently light headed and wobbly, so I stopped taking it
