Copper coil

Anyone had the copper coil?
I've had it in a year and it's given me the worst heavy periods and pain throughout my cycle.
I'm at the point where I want it out!

Yup I have it - no pain, but yes have heavier periods than I ever have before

If it isn't working no need to stick with it, can you get it removed?

I have one. I love it, but then I don’t get on with hormonal contraception at all. My skin is much, much better and overall mood is more stable without it.

My periods settled down a lot after the first year - they are still somewhat heavy, but I reckon that’s perimenopause.

I loved mine! Yeh it made my periods heavier but I can cope with that! It was so refreshing to be without hormones!

One thing that helped - mooncup! Really helps when you have heavy periods as it holds more

Yeah mine makes my periods heavier and cramps worse, but worth it not to be on anything hormonal IMO.
