I had a mirena coil inserted on the 1st of feb and I have had no spotting since, I did however have period cramp/period symptoms on the weekend but no actual period. Is this normal? I had a scan last week to make sure it was in the right place and the sonographer said my endometrium was thick but I thought the coil was meant to thin it hence the spotting/bleeding that most people experience and I was expecting?
