I’m 31, have three beautiful children and started taking the pill for the first time in my life 3 weeks ago.
I’ve been put on mercilon, I did the 21 days with no problem. I’m currently on day 3 of the 7 day break, I’ve had light bleeding until today, today it was heavy and a big (size of satsuma) mass came out (sorry tmi) it wasn’t pleasant at all.
Is this normal withdrawal bleeding? I don’t normally have heavy periods.
I also have back pain, I’m due to have a routine smear test done tomorrow after a 7 week wait but I have to cancel because of the bleeding.
