Dizzy after copper coil

Hi all,

Ever since I've had my copper coil put in, I've felt really weird! I don't feel myself,

A week after my period, I feel dizzy and feel like my head is going to mush!.

Has anyone felt weird after having the copper coil in?

Hello, I had the cc for a year. I had it taken out due to the heavy periods becoming an issue. I didn’t feel any different though and if it wasn’t for the heavy periods i would of kept it in.
Are your periods really heavy? It could be that your HB is low. I often felt wiped out after the week of my period due to how heavy it was. To be on the safe side you could always go and get a simple blood test via your GP to check your HB and then depending on the result you could supplement with a multi vit that contains iron and see if that helps xx

How long have you had it?

It took me a good 6 months for mine to settle down, felt really sicky/yucky all the time. It's been 2 years now and it doesn't bother me at all.
