Sterilisation - what should I expect

I am due to be sterilised next week, i’m 42 and am quite certain this is right for me with full support from my husband so there’s no worries there, I’m interested to know real peoples stories of recovery and what I can expect?

I had it done in my late twenties, hurtlike hell afterwards but neve r regretted it. It was the right choice for me
