Coming off cerazette

Hi all :)

We’ve decided that I’m going to stop taking cerazette after I’ve finished this strip (so 3 weeks time)

I’ve had regular (ish) periods in the 4 years I’ve been on this pill, just wondering whether there’s anyone with a similar history of it on here?

All I’ve seen on google are horror stories, but these mostly seem to be from people who didn’t get a period whilst on it. Just wanted to know if there are any side effects to coming off it I should know about? :)

I was on the pill for 12 years (numerous different pills as had trouble finding one to agree with me (3 combined pills and 3 mini pills) and came off to try for a baby. I was concerned but I didn't have any side effects coming off at all and Ds (now 10 months old) was conceived in the first month so I never had a chance to find out properly really! I've since gone back on it as having normal period again we're too painful!

Similar situation. Came of 27th but never had a period in the 8 years. Been reading lots but generally people seem to conceive after 3 months off (but you can be surprised). Interesting journey ahead I think 😂
