MAP and effect on implantation?

Liftwantedaroundtheworld

Got snowed in last weekend and had a power cut to boot, so took to bed with DP while teenagers went off sledging. Condom split. It was last day of my period (5 days since it started) and I calculated risk of pg to be very low as I'm 36 with very regular 28 day cycles and always know when I ovulate (down to knowing which side) so was confident it would be ok. Plus we were snowed in anyway so couldn't get out for the next 3 days!

Woke up Friday morning to unmistakable ovulation twinges, 5 days early by my calender which is unheard of. Rushed to pharmacy and bought ellaone which I took approx 118 hours after the sex (had not had sex since).

Totally panicking. What are the chances of conception? It would be a disaster and I'd terminate without any soul searching but I don't want to have to deal with that. Can't seem to find accurate information on ellaone when taken during ovulation or on whether it can prevent implantation.

Please no lectures about my foolishness. Lesson well and truly learnt re timings, it has never happened before to my knowledge and I'm really worried and upset Sad

I'm finding plenty of very subtle references to ellaone preventing or at least interfering with implantation but nothing definite. Seems like it probably does but that they don't want to make it clear so as not to set off the pro-lifers Hmm

EllaOne delays ovulation normally - it is not as effective if taken after ovulation, or more than 120 hours since unprotected sex.

It has little or limited effect post-fertilisation and pre-implantation.
