My 13yo is going skiing with school, but she is due on her period, I know you use to be able to take the pill to stop it from happening, my question is would you let a 13yo take the pill just to stop period for a month?

Probably not.

Because I wouldn't want to jolt hormones around artificially during puberty unless there was an overwhelming reason.

How long can she go without a change of sanpro?

dementedpixie · 08/12/2017 07:41

Norethisterone is a pill delaying tablet rather than a contraceptive. Maybe a GP would prescribe it

bluebells1 · 08/12/2017 07:43

Please don't. As much as possible, please dont mess with her hormones.

SummatFishyEre · 08/12/2017 07:45

Just get some norethisterone
