Hair loss and mirena?

I have had the mirena for 18mths- last 6 months have had eye and vaginal dryness but now my hair has started to fall out!!! Had his happened anyone else.
Had my thyroid checked and all ok

How old are you? Those symptoms can be due to lowered oestrogen.
Re hair, have you had your ferritin checked and if so do you know the number?

  1. Was worried last year I was perimenopausal but bloods tests said was ok. I was also low in ferritin for 18mths- very heavy periods that's why I had the coil but now wondering it it's causing the hair loss and severe dry eyes, vaginal dryness and anxiety I have been suffering ?
