Getting first marina coil out was a nightmare, do I do it again?

So I had a marina coil after my two wonderful children which was marvelous. No periods for 5 years and no problems... until they tried to get it out!

I went in for a quick switch-a-roo, out with the old in with the new. Well long story short, a year later - 5 appointments, a scan and 4 attempts it's out! And I was quite shaken up.

A few months down the line and periods have returned regularly, not too much of an issue, but annoying nonetheless.

I still have my replacement on my shelf and wondering if anyone who had problems finding strings etc then had a normal extraction next time round? If you were me would you get another one?

Thanks Cake
