I have been bleeding for 6 weeks now. I’ve had all the swabs done which we’re clear. Pill has been changed and nothing is working. I’ve now been referred for a colposcopy and I’m really panicking! I know it’s common to have this done after an abnormal smear but I don’t know anyone that has had abnormal bleeding to the extent that they’ve had to be referred for a colposcopy. Is there any other possible explanation for this bleeding? Would harmless abnormal cells cause bleeding like this or does this mean it must be cancer or cancerous cells?! Any answers would be appreciated to put my mind at ease a bit!
