Cerazette and bleeding :(

I recently started taking cerazette after getting my first postpartum period 5 months after the birth of my daughter.

I began taking cerazette on the first day of my period and all was fine, period lasted 7 days which was a little longer than before but did not worry me. Anyway one week later my partner and I dtd and the next morning I noticed some blood. That was yesterday morning and I am still bleeding. I would not say it is spotting but more of a light period. I have read that this is common but I'm a bit of an anxious person so I'm a bit worried about it but can't get into the gp for a month 😒

Has anyone else had any similar experiences? I've actually stopped taking it as I don't like the idea of frequent bleeding and am going to ask for the combined pill as I have now stopped breastfeeding.

I had crazy periods on it. Mine are usually like clockwork but cerazette gave me 2 a month that each lasted about 8-9 days. Went on the combined pill and it went back to normal within 2 months

Thanks for sharing it really freaked me out as I was told that spotting was a side effect but not erratic bleeding! So frustrating
