I've been on cilest for around 8 years, came off it to have my daughter last year, tried the injection after having her which didn't suit me so ended up back on cilest my daughter is now 1 and a half so been back on it a while now with no problems. Last month I started bleeding whilst still taking the pill around 2 weeks before my break was due. It's been over 3 weeks now (I was advised to carry on taking the next pack and have no break to stop it) and I'm still bleeding every day, sometimes heavy sometimes light but there's always something there and accompanied by period pains too. I've been tested for infections, sti's all the common causes and I'm clear of all that. I'm only 23 so never had a smear does anyone know what could cause this? Should I push for a smear test? Any help is appreciated!
