Restarting Cerelle to help with bleeding?

I have been taking Cerelle for 4 months to help with mild adenomyosis. I have pretty much bled constantly since starting to take it but understood it should settle down.

On holiday I started bleeding really heavily so stopped it. Big mistake I think! I spent the rest of the holiday bleeding so heavily it was like a murder scene. One day I was leaking through a super plus tampon in 15 minutes with huge clots.

Anyway I have been off for 2 weeks now and the bleeding has finally stopped. I want it to work for me as it controls the adenomyosis pain really well.

I have read that the amount of bleeding you get can depend on where you are in your cycle when you start taking it and hoping it will work better this time. I also have a prescription for norethisterone just in case.

Does anyone have any experience with doing this?

Thanks.

Oh I also asked for Qlaira, but I was told as I was over 35 this was contraindicated?

Combined pills can be used in women over 35 as long as they are not overweight, don't smoke and don't have high blood pressure. Do any of them apply to you?

No, not unless vaping counts as smoking. I don't think it does as a nurse at my surgery told me they count vapers as a non smokers as long as they're not doing both which I don't.
