What birth control to choose?

I had iud (jaydess coil) fitted in early april. This is my second one and I had the previous one for 3 years without any problems. A while ago I got some weird symptoms like additional bleeding and stomach cramps. I went to see the doctor to make sure the coil has not fallen off. Ultrasound showed that it was perfectly in place. She told me to do a pregnancy test just in case. It was positive and the blood test was positive aswell. Anyway I was refered to another doctor and further examination showed that I propably had a very early on miscarriage. Through ultrasund this doctor said that it's placed perfectly. She said that the coil is fine, it was just one of these rare occurences and I can keep going with the same coil.

I've lost my trust to the coil now. Especially this one that is inside of me. I was looking for alternative options such as minipills, capsule or another coil. I had one migrane episode so the doctor doesnt recommend the pill or the ring

Would you trust the same coil again? Do you have experience with these other birth control methods? Right now me and my partner are so freaked out that condom+something else seems like the best option but maybe once we calm down we might go back to without the double.
