Missed periods

Does anyone know of any reasons for a missed period other than being pregnant? I've never missed a period since I started and only when I was pregnant. I've not had one for about 3/4 months and not on any contraception and not pregnant either .. I'm confused?!

This is the contraception topic, so if you don't use it, it might be better reposting in 'general heath' (assuming you have POAS and are reallybsure pregnancy is excluded)
