I'm on the mini pill and have been on some kind of pill for years now. Not TTC.
When I was last not on the pill, I was very in touch with my cycle and always knew I was ovulating because I would get a clear 'jelly' discharge that was like nothing else I got at any other time.
I don't recall getting it since, but I've just had a random feel down there and there is clear jelly discharge! Not a lot, but definitely some.
Could I be ovulating or could it be something else? I generally take the pill within the same 30 min window every day and haven't forgotten it in certainly a few months.
I have heard that on rare occasions you can ovulate on the mini-pill but the mucus plug that builds up around the cervix prevents pregnancy. Is this true or if I feel I'm ovulating should I avoid sex for 5 days?
