Mirena and No bleeding straight away?

I had mirena fitted about three weeks ago. The day I had it fitted I spotted in the morning and it was the day my period was due but I had mirena fitted and I haven't bled I've very lightly spotted. Mainly when I've been to the loo. Is that normal?

I've had mine in for 10 weeks now and the first two weeks I would spot but only when I wiped, since then I've had no bleeding or spotting at all. I think everyone has different experiences with it. One of my friends still has regular periods with hers, while another has one every few months or just occasional spotting.

Have you had any period symptoms such as cramps ect?

No period symptoms. It did get a bit heavier the other week. But still not loads just slightly more than the spotting
