I've had the Mirena coil in for almost a year. It's been brilliant. I'd had terrible spotting (i.e. full blown period) for a whole year before then when on the depot, relentless spotting with mini pill before then and I can't take the combined pill as I'm a migraine sufferer. The Mirena has been the best method, except for the last week or two I've had I think a period or spotting. Prior to this I'd only really had occasional spotting and one period. It's still preferable to anything else I've been on but I'm really hoping the period/spotting stops soon! I wondered if anyone else with the Mirena had experienced something similar? Thank you.
