Maexeni?

I was on dianette for 10+ years to treat acne/facial hair, came off it 2 yrs ago and got mirena put in to see how I got on with lower hormones. Physically and emotionally great, but acne/excess hair has got gradually worse and I don't want to put up with it anymore.

Went to the clinic last night to get it removed and was told they can't give me dianette, only maexini. I'm googling around but it doesn't look like it does anything like what dianette does. Is it best to go to my GP for another prescription? Not planning babies for at least another 3 years but would like my skin nice again.
