No periods.. what's going on?!

I had the contraceptive implant taken out in January 2016 and had normal periods until July then they stopped.
I went for tests in November but they all came back normal. I was then referred for a scan which was then refused because they no longer scan for PCOS.
I was given progesterone tablets to take 7 days which brought on a period but that was six weeks ago.
The doctors have no explanation and I'm starting to worry I might not be able to have any more children.
Has anyone gone through anything similar?

What tests were carried out?

Blood tests.
They checked hormone levels and to see if I had any thyroid problems. All came back normal and I was told I wasn't pregnant or going through early menopause (I'm 23)

I have PCOS & went about 90 days between bleeds when we were TTC which was incredibly frustrating.

That would seem an obvious thing to look for, you say they don't??!

Ask if they have tested for this:

My SIL has this and it wasn't found for years after her periods stopped.
