Is this normal?

I had a coil fitted last Wednesday.
Since then I have had period type pains especially in my lower back.
Is this to be expected?

I have tried google but am only getting results for immediately after fitting. I have only ever had the implant before so am sorry if this is a daft question.

I had a mirena coil fitted a few months ago and had several days of cramps and 3 weeks of bleeding.

It was only a dull ache though. If you're in real pain ring 111 or the FP clinic for advice.
