Cerazette and no period

Taking cerazette for three months but big fail as missed a few each month, reason for pill in first place was to regulate periods. They did in the sense they were on time, second month of taking it I had a seven dsy bleed, old mainly (sorry tmi).

Last period 22 November, messed up pill this month, unprotected sex1st dec, last pill taken 2nd dec, came off it then due to forgetfulness (forgetting about the 1st dec).

Now currently dsy 37, a week after sore chest and period symptoms. No period came as yet. Pregnancy test last Sunday negative(11 days ago)

How long does body take to go back to normal?

Cerazette is a progestogen only pill, so will not regulate your periods. Most women who use it will not have a period with it, you may get irregular bleeding with it, but it is unlikely you will get a regular bleed.

If you take a pregnancy test 3 weeks after your last episode of UPSI then it will be accurate.

As soon as you stop Cerazette it stops working, you ovulate within about a fortnight of stopping. It doesn't need time to get out your system.

It sounds if your periods were irregular to start with (if you were looking for a method to regulate bleeding - the only method to do that is a combined method), so it maybe you're just back to your own cycle?

If you last had sex 1st Dec, do another pregnancy test now, the result will be accurate.
