Periods on Cerelle

I have been on Cerelle for three months now and despite taking it each day all the way through the month, I have still had monthly bleeds, that actually last a few days longer than my natural period used to.
Is this likely to settle down in time once my body gets used to Cerelle or is it possible I'll always have bleeds?
One of the draws was no periods tbh!

Thanks for your reply jaffacakes, that sounds awful! What contraception did you change to? I haven't lost sex drive (as of yet!!) but as getting the bleeds with symptoms- bloating, cramping etc, which is what I had wanted to avoid.
