I've had my implant since April 2015. It was a nightmare to start off with, settled for about a year but now it's messing me about again. Missing periods, random bleeding for a couple of hours, sore boobs, nausea etc. I've decided I'm going to have it taken out. Me and my partner are looking to start trying for a baby in the near future (already have an 8 year old daughter) so I'm planning on going on the pill, probably microgynon as that's what I was on before the implant, until we're ready to try.
I've read some awful stories about removals and I'm a bit anxious. Does anyone have any experience (good or bad!) so I know what to expect?
