Copper coil out, how long until a period?

Hi, I hope someone can help. I had my copper coil out three weeks ago. I was due on a few days ago but no sign of anything yet. Does anyone know if there is a change in cycles when coil comes out? Thanks

Hi, Did you get your period yet? As far as I understand, the copper coil doesn't affect cycles because there are no hormones affecting ovulation etc.

But I read that you need to use condoms for a week before removal or you can get pregnant, as sperm can live several days inside the body.
