I had the contraceptive implant put in over a year ago whilst I was still breastfeeding. The hope was that as I wasn't having periods I would avoid the erratic spotting that can be a side effect. All has been fine until I stopped breastfeeding completely 2 weeks ago. Now I'm having a light bleed for the last couple of days.
Anyone have any experience of having the implant whilst bf? Will this bleeding just settle or can I expect a few months of this? It's been about 15 months since the implant was put in.
