I'm pregnant with copper coil.

I've just been to the doctor and had it confirmed. I'm 5 weeks pregnant although I've had the copper coil for two years. Bollox shitting bollox! Sad

Has anyone been through this? I'm having a scan in hospital tomorrow to see if the coil can be removed (or if it's even still there)

I don't want to be pregnant. I thought I was safe with the coil

This happened too me! Although it was my 2nd baby conceived this way and we coped.

Will this be your first baby? If you decide pregnancy/baby isn't what you want there are other options. Could you just be scared due to a little shock?

Thanks for your reply Mummytodaisy I already have two dc 7 and 4.
I got the coil because I was sure I didn't want anymore dc.

I'm shocked alright haha.

Did you have your coil removed while you were pregnant? Or had the coil fallen out?
