How common is pregnancy using the copper coil?

I have heard a few cases now and I'm getting a little worried as I have always been regular but I'm now late (over a week late)

Have many of you got pregnant using the coil or know anyone that has?

My mum did, because she lost weight, a significant amount, and the coil slipped apparently. You should test.

I had the cc as after DD1, I didn't want any more.....ive now got two DDs!
lots of people told me afterwards about women they knew falling pregnant on the coil, so I think you best buy a test as it does happen more than my doctors suggest
