My last implant run out just before Xmas, I had about a month break before having another put in.
I was bleeding about 2 weeks before it ran out, nothing major just spotting.
I have now had the new implant in about 4 weeks and am still bleeding. That's about 10 weeks of bleeding now in total.
I understand that as I let my old one run out its going to take a while for the new one to take hold and things to settle down. However the bleeding goes from 3/4 days of brown spotting, hardly anything, to a day of thick red heavy bleeding, then back to spotting again.
Is this normal for the implant and how long do I expect this to last before it settles down?
Should I go back to the GP?
The implant also feels slightly curved in my arm and pressure in my muscle.
