Hello all,

First time poster here! DH and I are hoping to start TTC around November this year, I want to loose some weight first. I am currently on the mini pill, I have had no periods at all for the last few years since being on this. Any advice on when to stop taking it so that a cycle can get back to normal? Any advice would be greatly received as I have no idea about this at all!!

Thanks in advance.

You might find this topic useful for all things relating to TTC. www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception

You could be fertile from any time you stop using contraception.

I think the usual advice is 2-3 months, as knowing when you've had a spontaneous period will help in dating a pregnancy.
