Asking on behalf of 20 something daughter. She suffered an infection as a result of a Mirena fitting. She has been using the Pill of various varieties but would much prefer a non hormonal form of contraception. She asks if having had a major infection as the result of a dodgy Mirena fitting would mean that either there would be a reluctance to fit her with a copper coil or she might have problems with it, as she had with the Mirena?
