What other options do I have please?

Hi, I'm 38, and don't want any more kiddies.
Hubby wont have the op, so I need contraception.
The Dr has put me on cerazette but the constant unpredictable bleeding is driving me crazy!
I really don't want the coil.
I've been told the implant si the same drug as cerazette.
What other options are there please?

There are other mini pills you could try as there are several with different active ingredients. In the absence of risk factors e.g. Overweight, high blood pressure, smoking, etc you could also try the combined pill (not an option if you have any of the risk factors though)

Why wouldn't you like a coil? I would think the implant is worse as they cut the skin to put it in.

Don't be too put off about your husband not getting the snip. Quite a few go wrong. I've been in agonising pain since mine for the last three years. I see my consultant Urologist soon. I am asking for them to be cut off. Never again. The pain us unreal and the meds horrible
