My 36 year old daughter was prescribed Cerazette three months ago. After a couple of weeks she started to feel very anxious, and mentioned it to the GP who told her to persevere with the pills. Unfortunately she took his advice, and has changed from being bubbly, energetic, hard working, happy and sociable to terribly depressed, constantly tearful, snappy, not sleeping, and has lost all interest in work and relationships. To my shame I didn't realise how bad things had got until she almost completely broke down a couple of weeks ago. I then put two and two together and researched Cerazette online.
I discovered so many women have suffered in this way on this drug - it just has to be the cause of her personality change. I could not persuade her to go back to the GP but she did stop taking them ten days ago. Sadly there has been no improvement yet. Does anyone know how long it will take for the pills to get out of her system? Will she need medical help to get back to normal? I desperately want my lovely daughter back and am so worried about her.
