What to expect at 6 week coil check?

I'm going for my six week check next week for my copper coil.

Everything has seemed fine but the fitting was very painful so I am just wondering what I can expect at my six week check. Will they need to open my cervix again?

No. They do a vaginal exam just to check the strings are in place, and ask you how you are getting on with it. No cranking of cervix involved!
