Like I'm
Not paranoid enough already with health! Last night I had intercorse and then about two hours later, I noticed what I can only describe as a very light brown sticky blob of I guess discharge? When I checked according to my calendar this is the day I was ovulating ? Confused and worried!

As you have posted this in the contraception topic, I'm assuming you don't want to be pregnant.

You can get emergency contraception from your GP, a specialist provider like Brook, and I think GUM clinics sometime offer it too. The sooner the better. If accessed through GP etc it's free, from a pharmacist it's about £25

Coils can also be used for emergency contraception.

My question was about the brown discharge .

I posted here as it was the closest board I could see towards that kind of thing ?

Could be that your cervix got irritated and bled a little. It happens to me all the time as I have a cervical erosion.

Like someone else said you may want to just go for a cervical exam.

Aley009 · 05/05/2015 09:13

I've got this a few times around the time of ovulation, I have looked online and it says that mucus at the time of ovulation can be tinged with brown, I've had nothing else to worry me regarding my cervix.

Was just wondering if anyone else had had it or similar

Just a suggestion as you said it happened after intercourse. The only symptom of my erosion is a touch of bloody discharge after intercourse. An erosion is harmless.
If you're worried id pay a trip to your GP to put your mind at rest. It sounds from your OP that you may have a touch of anxiety regarding your health in general?

Aley009 · 05/05/2015 09:48

I have very bad health anxiety, the thing is it's not happened before after intercorse & i thought it may have more to do with the ovulation I think it just panicked me a little as it was after intercorse, but Im sure I've had it before around ovulation time I will keep an eye on it

Also Wondering if it could of been old blood from my last period ( not had sex since finished my period until last night) quote relieved that for once I've looked online and nothing too sinister has come up, nothing Today either . Will keep an eye out. Thanks
