Ive had it 10 months now!
Irregular bleeding - most days enough for a pad or upteen panty liners.

Its working as a contraceptive for me because we cant do anything as Im always bleeding!!

Also get back ache, period cramps (painful) and nausea at times.

Does it just not work for some people? Im giving it til end May when it will be almost a year.

I had 1 bleed at the start and now have only the occasional spotting. Have had it for a couple of years

I had mine removed after 11 months. I bled constantly, along with other awful side effects. The doctor said that some women just don't get on with it. She removed it without any argument.

I had mine fitted 6 weeks ago. I have had less than a week of no bleeding at all and the rest of the time heavy spotting or bleeding. Ironically it was suggested to control heavy periods which were out of control. I am at the end of my tether with all the bleeding. Seriously fed up and it has only been a few weeks. Watching this thread with interest and sympathy!

Mine was immediate - no period for something like 90 days.
Then I slowly regained a normal cycle every 23-25 days but it only lasts 3 days and is so light, it would ruin knickers but panty liners could hack it. I just use a moon cup though.

So I would say you are not getting on well with it and sod waiting till May.

Mine was rubbish for the first month (dec 14) nearly had it taken out at first check up due to heavy bleeding, pain, cramps etc then 2 months of random light bleeding, now have only had the odd day of spotting or discharge. Still unpredictable which is a bit annoying but just wear a liner all the time. My GP was keen for me to give it 6 months, if it's still crap at 10 months I'd want it out ASAP, it seems to be a love it or loathe it kind of thing.

Thanks ladies. Its coming out. Need to make GP apt. Much as Id like it too (boo) it obviously doesn't suit me.
