When does the mini pill become effective?

I started taking the mini pill (cerazette) 21 days after birth, when does it become effective as contraception??? Not that I'm in any rush to have sex any time soon but want to make sure I'm covered when I do so no 'accidents' happen. I've been taking it for about 10 days now.

It's best to carefully read through all the info that came in the packet, here's a link, just in case you no longer have it Smile

Is it not 2 days?

m.netdoctor.co.uk/sex-and-relationships/medicines/cerazette.html - says it's effective immediately if taken from day 21
