Implant and bleeding? 😕

I've had the implant since last July. All was going well, regular light periods and generally happy.
Since about mid January I had a heavy period which lasted about 10 days and have bled on and off since then ð??? the one or two days I haven't bled, had sex and bled really heavily afterwards for about 10 days.

I know I should go to the doctors but I'm a bit worried what they'll say. Has anyone had any experience with this?

Yes! I used to bleed for up to 16 weeks at a time, then had 3 week bleeds per month with one free bloodless weak.

That certainly made it a good contraceptive, cuz I wanted to kill my DH.

Some women love implant, others it doesn't agree with.

I got mine out after a year as the bleeding never settled and I was just pissed off.

As far as I know, it's same hormones as the mini pill.
