What conception to use after birth

Hi I've just had a baby 3 weeks ago and as much as I love her I
Don't want her to be having a sibling anytime soon. So I was wondering what types of contraceptives people have or what they would recommend. My mw was quite keen on me to try the coil but I've heard terrible things about it.
Any suggestions.

are you bf or ff?

if bf - mini pill, coil (mirena or copper), depo injection, condoms
if ff - anything really although combined pill is dependent on age/weight/blood pressure

There are many birth control pills available in the market such as loette , yasmin and many other which will surely help to prevent you from pregnancy.

Have a read of this - it's the same info leaflets that many GPs use - basically depends how you're feeding and what you feel would suit you! Worth a discussion with your GP?

We just used conforms. I wasn't that keen on resuming any kind of sex life for quite a while after having DD so there didn't seem to be any point in pumping myself full of hormones just on the off chance I felt like it. One day she may actually sleep and a more permanent method of contraception may become worth it!
