Alternatives to cerazette

I can only have a progesterone pill as the combine pill gives me migraines.

I just started cerazette and in a week it turned me into a moody cow and I started to feel anxious. So I stopped the pill.

What are the alternatives to cerazette please?

according to netdoctor there are 8 brands of mini pill but several have the same active ingredient.

In the UK, there are now eight brands available:
Aizea (desogestrel)
Cerazette (desogestrel)
Cerelle (desogestrel)
Nacrez (desogestrel)
Micronor (norethisterone)
Noriday (norethisterone)
Norgeston (levonorgestrel)
Zelleta (desogestrel).

You could try micronor, noriday or norgeston instead of cerazette.

I found I became less and less tolerant of hormonal contraception as the years wore on, to the point where I was advised to give up trying different stuff. I've had the copper coil (hormone free) for a good few years now and it's fab.
