Was just wondering I know bleeding/spotting is common with the mirena for a few months until it settles down.

Did people bleed from the off after insertion? I had mine done two weeks ago nearly and nothing so far?

I had very light periods/ spotting around period time first few months then zilch for over three years, well the very odd spot not enough for even a light weight towel. I buy cheap pregnancy test strips because every so often I have a panic.

I'm at nearly four years now and i've had light spotting again twice. The nurse at a recent check up said they could change it early if I want post four years.

I hope you're like me one of the ones it really works for. If you are its fab.

I rarely bled on the mirena none for a few months after insertion then just light spotting every few months.
I was paranoid that I was pregnant every few months.
Spotting got time regular towards the end of its life cycle.

Yes, I think I bled pretty much from the off for about 4-5 months with only a day or two of no bleeding here and there.

It's settled down now to a week or so of light bleeding once every 2-3 months.
