Just got mirena taken out...

So I just got my mirena taken out...Small bit pinchy but not sore...what should I expect now? cramping? bleeding?

I've had it in for 3.5 years...first ot was great..then came headaches..weight gain (1.5 stone), loss of libido and pain.

The gynea asked why, I just mentioned the pain and headaches...well...she treated me like an eejit. "the mirena wouldn't cause any of those things bla bla bla bla"

I'm not sure why they think it's the be all end all...surely I can't be the only one in the world that had these side effects?

Please god the weight comes off me now

I loved mine and had no side effects. When it was removed, I had a normal period. But then the next period was like Armageddon. Good luck!
